James Cummings reports that there will not be an Extravaganza Qualifier this Saturday. There are still two chances to Qualify Saturday July 15th and August 5.  The Championship will be Aug 19th.

Instead, if you are in the area, the following is an invitation by Frank the owner of the Hot Dog Shop to attend Sol Lipkin’s birthday party this Saturday at the Hot Dog Shop. Sol’s history can be found on the Shuffleboard Federation website: http://store.shuffleboardfederation.com/sollipkinaward.html 

Sol Lipkin, the shuffleboard legend, is celebrating his 100th birthday at The Hot Dog Shop on Saturday, July 1st. He has asked me to extend an invitation to shuffleboard players in Houston to join him at his party.

Party starts at 7:30. Entertainment will be Vince King's, Tribute to Elvis Show, starting at 8:30.

There will be a shuffleboard tournament preceeding the party, starting at 2:00 p.m..
