| The
6th Annual KC Shootout held at Elks Lodge 2088 in Grandview Missouri
kicked off on Thursday night with another record number of 102 players
in the A/B event. I can honestly say I didn't see a bad team in the
whole field of 51 teams. When the smoke cleared these were the results
AB DRAW. Then it was on to the main event, the Handicap Bring Partner, where there were 53 teams and a whole lot of money at stake.And the winners were: BRING PARTNER The it was on to the singles events. There were two Division. Division I was -1s, 0s and 1s and had 25 participatents. DIVSION I Division II were 2s, 3s and 4s and there were 39 players. DIVISION II We would also like to thank Kathy Yingst for doing a great job with the registration and sponsor sale and Tony Leier for running the bracket boards. Even though we had a few glitches, all in all, I thought things ran pretty smoothly. I would also like to thank the Elks Lodge 2088 for doing a great job making sure all our needs were fulfilled. The food was superb as was the hospitality. This years MVP goes to Ron Campbell Jr. Ron had a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finish. "Good job, Ron!" |
