The fourth annual Guy-Gal tournament was held at Doc's Shuffle Inn in Stockton, Mo. June 8th and 9th. There were 23 teams with shooters from Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Missouri. This is always a popular event, and even before the tournament is over players are planning their partners for the next year. This was an excellent tournament with some close, great matches played. In the end Steve Taylor (Kansas City) and his partner Keitha Ellison (Springfield) topped the field going undefeated. The final game was played against Roger Ellison (Springfield and Keitha's husband) and his partner Jolene Lempke (Springfield, formerly California) and member of the California Hall of Fame. Good weekend for the Ellison's. Third place went to Justin Bendickson (Springfield) and his partner, and soon to be wife, Casey Atkinson (Springfield). This was Casey's third tournament and her first placement. Way to go Casey!! By Doc
